— | ISPAI raised concern regarding the prevailing situation which is inhibiting the widespread implementation of the Garda CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material) blocking list by ISPs. We note the desirability to apply network-based blocking of known CSAM sources on the Web. The current non-legislative approach exposes ISPs to liability and exposes both state and industry to criticism about establishing non-transparent systems which could be abused to curtail freedom to information. |
