We created a publication entitled 'ATD Ireland and the The Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU' which advocated for a range of anti- poverty measures. This included the prioritisation of the EU anti poverty strategy during the Irish Presidency, including the recognition of socio- economic status within Irish Equality legislation.
Meeting
We met with MEP Aodhán Ó Ríordáin to discuss the EU anti poverty strategy, the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU and to advocate for a range of policy related issues including the recognition of socio- economic status within Irish Equality Legislation.
