Intent: I results I intend to secure are that Leitrim County Council to rezones the large Green area in the Stonebridge Estate in Dromahair Co Leitrim as an Open Space or Park or Mixed General Green area immediately as a matter of priority. The green should be preserves for current users and future generations. The green area should not be built on, reduced or diminished in any way by roads or buildings. Rezoning should occur immediately as the green in under threat.

Meeting
A formal meeting was held in Stanfords Dromhair at 7.30pm on 9th April 2024 when it was unanimously decided by the committee of Stonebridge Residents Association, and all residents of Stonebridge present that the Public Open Spaces at Stonebridge should be retained and preserved as they are.
Informal communication
I have participated in informal discussions with the large group of my neighbours attending the annual Barbeque where the general consensus was that the green at Stonebridge should be retained as is with no road or building on it.

I, along with neighbours made submissions to Leitrim County Council Planning department. My first and latest submission was made on 08/09/2024
