Intent: To highlight that summer hours are re-instated for the cable car operation to facilitate farmers.::Further to the withdrawal of the cable car service due to storm damage in February 2022, West Cork IFA highlighted of the plight of local farmers during the calving and lambing season 2022 and the hardship the withdrawal of cable car would be on farmers and their livestock on the island. Alternative travel arrangements to the island with Government be sought to ensure livestock on the Island are looked after.
