Details: Following a resolution passed at Clare PPN's Plenary Meeting Clare PPN wrote to all Clare County Councillors asking them to support a motion calling on the Irish Government to take the lead in calling for a Global Ban on Fracking at the UN

Intent: Raise awareness and indicate support on behalf of our members to Clare County Councillors for engaged action on the release of raw sewage in Clare and on the provision of water infrastructure and how it affects planning and rural development

Details: Clare PPN wrote to all Clare County Councillors requesting that they set up a task force to deal with the issues of water and sewage provision in the County as administered by Irish Water - these issues affect zoning and planning and our members feel the Councillors should have input

Intent: That the ISDS aspects of the CETA Agreement would be debated at all party committee level in the Oireachtas

Details: Clare PPN Contacted all Clare County Councillors via email to ask that they would support a motion calling for the Dail to properly debate the EU Canada Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement in advance of possible ratification of the ISDS Courts aspect.

Intent: Clare PPN sought to have the Local Authority respond to submissions made by its member groups, to explain why no submission was taken on board and to request that a dedicated Climate Change and Biodiversity Strategic Policy Committee be set up under the draft spc scheme
