Intent: The councillors were present at a public meeting where i gave a presentation on the main issues of how aircraft noise and its impact was calculated and the mitigation measures proposed in teh draft decision. The presentation was intended to inform all present of the main lacunae and paucity of data underlying the decision and the need for more robusts data and methodology. I also advised how the public could take part in the consultation and invited both councillors to speak.
