Intent: Appraising candidates, specifically sitting Councillors on the priorities raised by the business community in advance of the Local Government elections in June 2024
Details: Local Government Election Manifesto 2024 sent to all candidates running in the local electoral area
Manifesto was sent by email to sitting councillors and all those running in the Letterkenny/Milford MD. It was sent on 22nd May 2024. A second email was sent on 24th May as a follow up with a new format as some could not open the attachment. - Email
Met Councillor a an event in Jacksons Hotel, Ballybofey on 19th May 2024. Took the opportunity to brief Councillor on local governement issues. - Informal communication

AFI & ICAAN were one of a number of NGO's to sign a letter seeking changes to the Intoxicating Liquor Bill (2024) and in particular seeking that a Health Impact Assessment be carried out on the Bill to assess its potential impacts on public health, safety and well being.
