Details: Regnum representatives contacted all local councillors in the Comeragh area to inform them of the company’s activity to date and a proposed solar energy development near the consented Regnum BESS (ref. 2460163).

Intent: To call for remedial action by Waterford County Council on the presence of Ragwort in Waterford City and County.::To highlight that Ragwort is classified as a noxious weed under the Noxious Weeds Act, 1936, due to the serious threats it poses to livestock and the environment.::To highlight that farmers have expressed alarm at the severity of the ragwort infestation in these areas. They are particularly concerned about the potential impact on their livestock and the spread of this invasive species into their fields.::To seek information on the steps the Council is taking or plans to take to resolve this matter.
