A Specific Local Objective (SLO) for the redevelopment of land at Tara Park, Leixlip Road, Lucan, Co. Dublin, was removed from the draft development plan for South Dublin. The SLO was in place for a number of development plans recognising the desire of SDCC to see the site redeveloped to something more appropriate. I contacted Councillor Guss O'Connell and Councillor Liona O'Toole to discuss the benefits of the SLO and to ask if there was a procedure to have the SLO reinstated. The Councillors both said that the time had passed for any action which could reinstate the SLO. - Phone call
