Details: In January 2026, JRS Ireland issued a copy of the 2026 JRS Ireland Intercultural and Interfaith Calendar to a number of relevant designated public officials and raised serious concerns about increasing polarisation around migration and asylum issues in Ireland.
Intent: The intended result was to highlight the significant challenges and barriers faced by persons with disabilities in IPAS accommodation and seek action on proposed recommendations to address these issues.
Details: In October 2025, JRS Ireland was a joint signatory on a civil society letter raising concerns regarding persons with disabilities living in the IPAS accommodation system.
