Intent: To ask the Council to give careful consideration to a reduction in local property tax which could impact commercial rates in 2019. Should the LPT be reduced for the next period by 15% for the fourth consecutive year, it will result in pressure on the council to balance its budget resulting in a further potential increase in commercial rates to businesses.
