Intent: There needs to me stronger measures to support the repurposing of vacant premises, and bringing our town centres back into full use::We cannot with for more measures, things need to happen

Details: Town Centre First - Felt it was not direct enough in relation to areas of focus. For a piece of work that was delayed months, it fails to have sufficient details on dealing with many of the issues in towns

Intent: Carlow 2040 needs to move forward, department should not be delaying the process::The process is running too slow and if we don't see progress soon then people in the town and county will loose faith

Details: Project Carlow 2040 - What is the delay in moving forward. Council adviseds that it is waiting on the department before things can move forward,

Intent: There needs to be a collaborative approach to upgrading the infrastructure along the Barrow Track::Work needs to commence with community engagement towards the development of a plan

Details: It is important that we look at infrastructure enhancements along the River Barrow which is one of the biggest assets in the county. Chamber have also met with Waterways Ireland to discuss further

Intent: The council have been strong in the delivery of the new infrastructure, in particular the new cycle path along Hanover has been very well received and it is great to have such amenities. Recognition for a job well delivered::Is there more funding available to further extend similar infrastructure to other areas of the town and county

Details: Cycle Infrastructure, there has been considerable work in Carlow with regard to upgrading and delivering of new cycling infrastructure,

Intent: There continues to be a number of areas where litter is prevalent, including in the vicinity of the river, some of the side streets::There is an noticeable increase in the amount of cigarette buts on streets, we need to look at areas to address this::Some areas need deep cleaning in the town and this should be further reviewed and actioned where possible
