Officials from Kildare county council asked to meet the combined residents group in relation to the proposed Gallops Avenue. Th eofficials expressed a desire to develop the road in a manner that woulld minimise the impact on residents. The reidents took the opportunity to express our opposition to the route and emphasise the need for an outer orbital route to the east of Naas Racecourse.This activity was initiated by Kildare County Council rather than the residents group but is included in the lobbying return for completeness - MeetingResidents were asked to contact the Naas municipal district councillors to ask for the removal of Gallops Avenue from the Naas Local Area and addition of an outer orbital route to the plan - Email

Celbridge-Leixlip Municipal District meeting on 28th of July. Email sent to seven Celbridge-Leixlip members by Deirdre Gleeson, Leixlip/Celbridge Team Leader, Kildare Youth Services.Leixlip Youth Project, Kildare Youth Services have provided youth services in the Leixlip Area for over twenty five years. A key component of engaging teenagers into youth services is having a youth friendly, designated youth space for them to meet in.
