Details: A delegation from Hunan Province in China were visiting Carlow to sign a friendship agreement, there was a focus on building ties for potential economic, educational and tourist/heritage links

Intent: That Carlow County Council would introduce a staggered junction and roundabout on the Wexford Road out of Carlow town, due to the volume of traffic on the road and in the interest of road safety.

Intent: That the Department of Agriculture fully supports the suckler herd and appreciates its importance for Irish agriculture and rural Ireland::That there is a need to invest in the Suckler herd and to tackle the income crisis on livestock farms::To deliver €200/ head support for the suckler cow and get support for a strong live export trade, which is essential for price competition and market outlets.::To deliver initiatives, including increased direct payments, to maintain and enhance the herd.::To requested a meeting with Minister Creed to discuss increased direct supports for the suckler cow herd.
