Intent: To highlight the amount of farm inspections and penalties on farmers in the north of the county::To highlight that north Tipperary farmers have been penalised €1.28m over the past six years on Cross-compliance, animal identification and nitrates inspections, excluding land eligibility inspections::To highlight that north Tipperary farmers have had 321 inspections on average per year, resulting in 53% of these inspections having penalyies::That an independent inquiry would be carried out to determine why north Tipperary farmers have substantially higher inspections and penalties.
