Intent: SSE sought and offered views on the impacts for the electricity sector of a no-deal Brexit, and supported the continuation of the I-SEM market. SSE also outlined some early challenges with the new I-SEM market.::SSE outlined its positions on the detailed design of the Renewable Electricity Support Scheme, including auction rounds of a volume capable of supporting offshore wind projects, alignment with the connections regime, build time frames appropriate to technologies, and realistic price intervention levers.::In the context of the Government's upcoming Climate Action Plan, SSE outlined that a specific offshore wind target would give confidence to project developers as well as the supply chain. SSE noted EirGrid’s East Coast Grid Study shows existing potential to accommodate offshore wind projects.::SSE also outlined progress with the Arklow Bank Wind Farm Project, including a draft project timeline illustrating decision milestones to deliver for mid-2020s and detailing local engagem
