Intent: SSE sought and offered views on the impacts for the electricity sector of a no-deal Brexit, and supported the continuation of the I-SEM market. SSE also outlined some early challenges with the new I-SEM market.::SSE outlined its positions on the detailed design of the Renewable Electricity Support Scheme, including auction rounds of a volume capable of supporting offshore wind projects, alignment with the connections regime, build time frames appropriate to technologies, and realistic price intervention levers.::In the context of the Government's upcoming Climate Action Plan, SSE outlined that a specific offshore wind target would give confidence to project developers as well as the supply chain.
