Intent: To highlight Ireland’s increased ranking in Fertility Europe’s policy survey.It was recently announced that Ireland has been ranked 12th out of 49 countries, a significant increase since 2021 when we were ranked 40th::NISIG also asked for support during European Fertility to:• Ensure AHR legislation is brought into effect as quickly as possible::That funding for publicly fertility treatment in Ireland is increased::The prioritisation of setting up of the new regulator in the area of Assisted Human Reproduction::A widening and more inclusive criteria for publicly funded IVF to include donor conception::Provision of education and awareness around fertility issues, and in particular in workplaces

Asked for support to ensure AHR legislation brought into effect as quickly as possible, increase funding & broaden eligibility for public funded fertility treatment, prioritise establishment of the regulatory authority, raise awareness & education around fertility issues. - Letter
