Tallaght Community Council have reviewed the latest, the 8th SHD for the Tallaght Town Centre LAP(TTCLAP) area for a staggering 1104 apartments on a 4.99 hectare (0.0499 square km, 12.33 acres)site in Cookstown (www.cookstowncastleshd.com), with the highest proposed block is 11 storeyshigh.Cookstown Castle Proposes a Density Twice that of the Densest Borough of Central LondonAssuming a low average occupancy of 1.75 people per apartment, this represents a density of40,270 people per sqm km. This could in fact be higher.
