Intent: To highlight the rise of the Water levels on the River Shannon and to request better management on the river to stop flooding on the Callows.::To request that the Office of Public Works (OPW) manage the water levels on the River Shannon by dropping the water levels while ensuring that it doesn't cause problems further downstream.::To highlight that, in order to to avoid substantial crop losses and livestock being left without winter housing, farmers need the Minister to take immediate control of the situation and ensure that the water levels are managed appropriately to reduce the risk of flooding.
