Intent: Informal discussion at the Bord na Móna Accelerate Green Conference on the potential for indigenous renewable liquid gas production, the need to ensure that rural communities and business consumers are part of the transition to decarbonisation, and Ireland's Biomethane Strategy.
Details: Discussion at an event regarding Liquid Gas, Bio Liquid Gas production, indigenous supply of renewable liquid gas, and the wider context of the Biomethane Strategy.
Intent: Provide feedback by way of consultation response to the redesign of the EEOS scheme in the context of the implementation of the revised Energy Efficiency Directive and its increased targets. The response welcomed new relaxation of some requirements and introduction of flexibilities in the scheme. SSE called for further expansion of some supports, pointed to key barriers and called for the current targets not to be increased to ensure deliverability.
