Officials from Kildare county council asked to meet the combined residents group in relation to the proposed Gallops Avenue. Th eofficials expressed a desire to develop the road in a manner that woulld minimise the impact on residents. The reidents took the opportunity to express our opposition to the route and emphasise the need for an outer orbital route to the east of Naas Racecourse.This activity was initiated by Kildare County Council rather than the residents group but is included in the lobbying return for completeness - MeetingResidents were asked to contact the Naas municipal district councillors to ask for the removal of Gallops Avenue from the Naas Local Area and addition of an outer orbital route to the plan - Email

Ronan Bunting had informal discussion with Pat Deering, including that new SAS restricts suppliers as to where they can install monitored alarms & all should be able to distribute throughout Ireland. Potential redundancies within supplier companies as a result.
