Manifesto was sent by email to sitting councillors and all those running in the Letterkenny/Milford MD. It was sent on 22nd May 2024. A second email was sent on 24th May as a follow up with a new format as some could not open the attachment. - Email
Intent: Update on community engagement. Biannual meeting with executive and elected members. The result is that Councillors understand issues pertinent to the town centre.

Intent: To voice farmers' anger and frustration at the ever-increasing administrative burden being placed on them which has had a major impact on farm family incomes.::These frustrations have broadened into anger with European and National lawmakers over the massive increase in regulations relating to Agriculture. The EU, the Irish Government and local Government are devising policies far from the farm gate with little or no consideration of the direct impact on farmers.::The following are some of the key issues that are contributing to growing frustration and anger with the political system::1. The transformation of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) away from supporting food production towards actually reducing farm output. The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) funding is being redirected to environmental schemes – the EU is effectively implementing new environmental regulations such as the “eco-schemes” on the cheap by redirecting existing funding instead of allocating additional funds.::2

AFI & ICAAN were one of a number of NGO's to sign a letter seeking changes to the Intoxicating Liquor Bill (2024) and in particular seeking that a Health Impact Assessment be carried out on the Bill to assess its potential impacts on public health, safety and well being. Intent: To brief on our work in Donegal, provide updates on our project progress (namely Lenalea Wind Farm), and to advocate for policies that ensure the acceleration of onshore renewables delivery, and the prioritisation of repowering/life extension of existing wind farms in the new County Development Plan. ::Submissions on the draft Sligo and Donegal County Development Plans to highlight the importance of aligning local plans with our national climate objectives, including zoning of lands for renewable energy. ::Submission on County Kerry's first Climate Action Plan to highlight importance of low-carbon infrastructure to Kerry's economy and Ireland's ability to meet its climate goals.

Intent: To achieve a sustainable, transparent, sequential, balanced zoning of lands so as to ensure the proper planning and development of the south side of Letterkenny in the area known as Leck Village. The town is sprawling out to the north and west and the lands to the South of Letterkenny are acknowledged by all as the priority area for appropriate development. Irish Water have now approved our pre planning and feasibility study to develop these lands
