Intent: That only professions who have statutory regulation should be designated as Mental Health Professions.The provisions under Part 3 Chapter 3 - Consent to Treatment (Involuntary Admissions) of the Bill, should be deleted. The criteria for involuntary admission and treatment should be the same and thus the admission order should become an admission and treatment order. That Risk criteria in Section 12 (1) (a) should be removed. ::the requirement for a psychosocial assessment should be removed from Section 22 and Sections 37. This includes a review of the current criteria based on data from the last 2 years, along with areas such as funding for patients requiring PGT-M and PGT-SR, and additional cycles of IVF for couples with no children.
